OWLS Portland-area Playgroup
The OWLS Portland-area playgroup meets the second Friday of each month, usually from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Queen’s Bench Luncheon

Please join Queen’s Bench for our June Luncheon at The Standard Center Auditorium. Sheila Blackford, attorney and practice management advisor from PLF, will give practical tips on how to create a successful law practice. The luncheon is from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the cost is $14, payable by cash or check at the door. No reservations required. Outtakes will be catering our luncheons. Are you the first in your family to go to college? Get a professional degree? Be a lawyer? Feel like it would be helpful to talk with others who have the same life experience?

Please join Judges Tennyson, You, and Lopez at the Multnomah County Circuit Court on Friday, June 22 at noon for just that conversation. Bring your lunch to Judge Tennyson's courtroom --308-- for an informal get together. This lunch occurs about every other month and we let the conversation take it where it will, but also take suggestions for topics.

Additionally, congratulations to the judges for this ongoing program. It will be recognized in August in Chicago as an “outstanding member service program” by the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations at the annual summit!

The Salem-area playgroup welcomes OWLS parents and their children to meet for a relaxed gathering. Children of all ages welcome. The playgroup usually meets the third Saturday of each month, but some events may occur on a different Saturday or the third/fourth Sunday if there is an exciting event to attend.
